The new AirPods 3 inherits many features from the Pro model, making them significantly improved than their predecessor. In addition, it’s now also available in Qatar.

Since their first release almost five years ago, Apple’s truly wireless earbuds have been a great hit. New versions, on the other hand, are rare. The second-generation AirPods were released in March 2019. Now we have the third-generation AirPods, which many people refer to as AirPods 3. The new model boasts an entirely new look, better audio, and access to features previously only available on AirPods Pro, such as spatial audio compatibility. Furthermore, the new AirPods have a longer battery life than prior models, including the AirPods Pro.

Because the second-generation AirPods are still available, though not in the wireless-chargeable case, Apple now has three true-wireless in-ears to select from. This article will look at the specifications, features, official price, and availability of Apple AirPods 3 in Qatar.

Design

The AirPods, according to Apple, are lightweight and rest at just the perfect angle in the ear for comfort and the optimum audio experience. In addition, the AirPods do not feature silicone tips, unlike the AirPods Pro. They are instead tipless like the original AirPods.

The AirPods’ shorter stem provides them a more discreet appearance in the ears, akin to the AirPods Pro. The earpiece is covered in mesh, and there is a mesh-covered cutout for ventilation. The new AirPods are constructed of white plastic with a small amount of silver at the base with L and R marking, the same as previous models.

The new AirPods are 1.21 inches tall, 0.72 inches wide, and 0.76 inches deep, instead of 1.59 inches tall, 0.65 inches wide, and 0.71 inches deep for the previous model. They’re about the same length as the AirPods Pro, but they’re narrower.

Water Resistance

The AirPods 3 have an IPX4 water resistance rating and can withstand mild rain and sweat. Still, they should not be submerged or exposed to large volumes of liquid. The MagSafe Charging Case is also water resistant, with an IPX4 grade. However, because Apple’s warranty does not cover liquid damage, it’s preferable to avoid water and other liquids.

Force Sensor

A force sensor is integrated into the stem of the AirPods, which is also a feature of the AirPods Pro. For media playback, a single push, double press, or triple press can be employed with the force sensor.

A single press will play or pause audio, a double press will advance the track, and a triple press will reverse the track. You can answer incoming calls by pressing on the AirPods stem, and a double press can be used to hang up. You can activate Siri by pressing and holding the button.

H1 Chip

The H1 chip in the AirPods 3 is the same one that was used in previous generations of the AirPods. The H1 chip enables one-touch pairing and speedy device switching with Apple devices and capabilities such as Audio Sharing, which allows two pairs of AirPods to be linked to an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV. Apple’s H1 chip also improves the range of the Bluetooth 5.0 connection. Although many AirPods capabilities are exclusive to Apple devices, AirPods can be connected to any Bluetooth-enabled device.

Sound Quality

The AirPods have an Adaptive EQ feature that improves sound quality by taking into account the shape of each person’s ear. To ensure a decent sound profile for every wearer, adaptive EQ uses computational audio and an inbuilt microphone oriented at the ear. The AirPods constantly alter and tune the low and mid frequencies to account for what might be lost due to fit discrepancies. The sound is modified in real time based on the fit of the AirPod in the user’s ear.

MagSafe Charging Case

To match the AirPods 3, Apple created a MagSafe Charging Case that can magnetically sync with MagSafe chargers. Because MagSafe Chargers use the same Qi protocol as regular chargers, the AirPods 2 with Wireless Charging Case already functioned with them. Still, now there’s the added benefit of magnetic alignment.

Battery Life

The AirPods 3’s battery life has been improved, and it can now last for up to six hours. When spatial audio is activated, the battery life lowers to five hours, and the AirPods can be used for up to five hours of speaking time. The charging case extends the battery life by another 24 hours, giving you 30 hours of listening time. There’s also a quick charge option that gives you an hour of listening time after five minutes of charging.

The critical distinction between the new AirPods and the AirPods Pro remains active noise cancellation, only available on the more expensive model. However, compared to Apple’s long-stemmed second-generation AirPods, the new AirPods still provide better audio with more outstanding bass.

Here’s how the third-generation AirPods and the AirPods Pro stack up against each other. And, in case you’re curious, here’s all you need to know about turning in your old AirPods.
