Here’s what you can expect from the highly anticipated iPhone 13.
Although we’re still some way off from the release of the 2021 iPhone lineup, the rumor train is gathering pace as the world waits with bated breath for the latest and greatest from Apple.

Although most information currently available on the internet about the iPhone 13 right now is conjecture, we do know a fair few things about the device. Here’s an idea of the things you can expect from the 13 when it drops in Fall 2021.
Apple is known to take things slow when it comes to smartphone design—and that trend is set to continue. Since the 2020 iPhone releases marked a significant design overhaul, the 13 is unlikely to feature any major changes.
Apple is expected to continue offering its flagship phone in three different sizes (unchanged from the previous year): a 6.1-inch entry-level variant, a 6.1-inch Pro model, and a 6.7-inch Pro Max model. However, the 13 may feature minor updates, like a slimmer body and a smaller notch.
There are also rumors that 2021 could be the year when Apple achieves its long-time goal of launching an iPhone with external ports or buttons. Ming-Chi Kuo, renowned Apple analyst, stated in 2019 that the company’s flagship device in 2021 would not feature a Lighting port and provide a totally wireless experience.
Even More Processing Power
Apple’s current flagship cellular device, the iPhone 12, already boasts a blazing fast chipset—the A14 Bionic. However, Apple is set to raise the bar even higher with the 13. The Cupertino-based company is set to use a 5nm+ A15 chipset made by TSMC with their 2021 offerings. In addition to being considerably faster than the outgoing A14, the A15 is also expected to support 5G and Wi-Fi 6E.
If most experts are to be believed, Apple won’t make too many upgrades in the camera department in 2021. The 13 is set to feature the same camera sensors that we saw in last year’s 12 Pro Max—and we’re definitely not complaining. It’s one of the best ones out there. Moreover, the iPhone 13 is set to come with upgraded camera software, with sensor-shift stabilization available across all models.
